Annie Lou (Singleton) McPherson

Annie Lou Singleton McPherson, 86, of Poplar Station Circle, Concord, NC, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on February 27, 1939, in Hampton County to the late Malverse Singleton and the late Ella Mae Roberts Singleton.

Annie attended Estill High School in South Carolina. She was formerly employed with J. Widder & Company.  Annie was a member at New Life Baptist Church.

Services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at New Life Baptist Church, 1281 Biscayne Drive, Concord, NC. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with funeral services at 11:00 AM.   

Annie is survived by three daughters, Dianne Chappelle of Concord, NC; Gail Elaine McPherson of Kannapolis, NC: and Michelle McPherson of Concord, NC; one son, Robert Harold McPherson of Bronx, NY; two step sons, Kelvin Rodney McPherson and Michael McPherson; eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; four sisters, Maggie Riggins, Mattie Reckley, Minnie Schaefer and Mary Jones; two brothers, Winnie Joe Singleton,  and Samuel Singleton; brother-in law, Ernest McPherson; two sisters-in law, Reatha Orr, and Rose Singleton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend
